Communication and awareness raising
The main purpose of the activity is to raise awareness and interest of public and key stakeholders in cooperation and participating in project actions. Communication activies include:
Projects communication plan developed:
Raising awareness of public and local communities:
- project website developed and regularly updated, min. 6,000 unique visitors
- social media: regular contributions on project topic
- min. 10 media outputs (radio, TV, printed media, internet portals; on local, regional and national level), min. 100,000 audience reached
- promotional materials prepared and disseminated
- min. 15 excursion in project areas
Raising awareness and increasing cooperation with key stakeholders:
- min. 60 personal meetings with stakeholders
- 2 two-day excursions for stakeholders, min. 50 participants in total
- min. 10 networking trips carried out
- stakeholders effectively cooperating on project actions
Developing of volunteer involvement:
- min. 10 volunteer events carried out; min. 200 volunteers involved in nature conservation actions
- 2 workshops for local leaders realised, min. 15 local leaders trained
- increase of active citizenship, involvement of volunteers and awareness of local communities
Installation of small visitor infrastructure:
- small-scale visitor infrastructure installed in strategic spots in project sites: 20 information panels
- improved infrastructure for visitors on project sites, improve possibilities for monitoring of birds and IAS, safer conditions for observation of birds by visitors, increased potential for sustainable tourism
- decreased disturbance of target bird species by visitors
